11 ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Τίς [a]ἔσται ἐξ ὑμῶν ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἕξει πρόβατον ἕν, καὶ ἐὰν ἐμπέσῃ τοῦτο τοῖς σάββασιν εἰς βόθυνον, οὐχὶ κρατήσει αὐτὸ καὶ ἐγερεῖ; 12 πόσῳ οὖν διαφέρει ἄνθρωπος προβάτου. ὥστε ἔξεστιν τοῖς σάββασιν καλῶς ποιεῖν.

11 He said to them, “Which one of you who has a sheep, (A)if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out? 12 (B)Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So (C)it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
