³² But I have prayed^(A) for you^[a] that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have turned back, strengthen^(B) your brothers.”

¹¹ Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.

³⁹ All these were approved through their faith, but they did not receive what was promised, ⁴⁰ since God had provided something better for us, so that they would not be made perfect without us.^(A)
