John 20:30-31

The Purpose of This Gospel

³⁰Jesus performed many other signs^(A) in the presence of his disciples that are not written^(B) in this book.^(C) ³¹But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah,^(D) the Son^(E) of God,^[a]^(F) and that by believing you may have life in his name.^(G)
