The Word Became Flesh

1 ^(A)In the beginning was ^(B)the Word, and ^(C)the Word was with God, and ^(D)the Word was God.

¹⁴ And ^(A)the Word ^(B)became flesh and ^(C)dwelt among us, ^(D)and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son^[a] from the Father, full of ^(E)grace and ^(F)truth.

¹⁶ For from ^(A)his fullness we have all received, ^(B)grace upon grace.^{[a] 17} For ^(C)the law was given through Moses; ^(D)grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
