¹⁰ The land [^Cof Judah] is full of people who are guilty of adultery.
    Because of the curse the land ·is sad [mourns],
    and the pastures of the ·desert [wilderness] have dried up.
The people [Their lives/^Lcourses] are evil
    and ·they use their power in the wrong way [^Ltheir power is not right].
