New International Version
21 but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him:
22 Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant.(C)
23 Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; 24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.(D) 25 Therefore he is able to save(E) completely[b] those who come to God(F) through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.(G)
26 Such a high priest(H) truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners,(I) exalted above the heavens.(J) 27 Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices(K) day after day, first for his own sins,(L) and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all(M) when he offered himself.(N) 28 For the law appoints as high priests men in all their weakness;(O) but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son,(P) who has been made perfect(Q) forever.

21 至 於 那 些 祭 司 ， 原 不 是 起 誓 立 的 ， 只 有 耶 穌 是 起 誓 立 的 ； 因 為 那 立 他 的 對 他 說 ： 主 起 了 誓 ， 決 不 後 悔 ， 你 是 永 遠 為 祭 司 。
22 既 是 起 誓 立 的 ， 耶 穌 就 作 了 更 美 之 約 的 中 保 。
23 那 些 成 為 祭 司 的 ， 數 目 本 來 多 ， 是 因 為 有 死 阻 隔 ， 不 能 長 久 。
24 這 位 既 是 永 遠 常 存 的 ， 他 祭 司 的 職 任 就 長 久 不 更 換 。
25 凡 靠 著 他 進 到 神 面 前 的 人 ， 他 都 能 拯 救 到 底 ； 因 為 他 是 長 遠 活 著 ， 替 他 們 祈 求 。
26 像 這 樣 聖 潔 、 無 邪 惡 、 無 玷 污 、 遠 離 罪 人 、 高 過 諸 天 的 大 祭 司 ， 原 是 與 我 們 合 宜 的 。
27 他 不 像 那 些 大 祭 司 ， 每 日 必 須 先 為 自 己 的 罪 ， 後 為 百 姓 的 罪 獻 祭 ； 因 為 他 只 一 次 將 自 己 獻 上 ， 就 把 這 事 成 全 了 。
28 律 法 本 是 立 軟 弱 的 人 為 大 祭 司 ； 但 在 律 法 以 後 起 誓 的 話 ， 是 立 兒 子 為 大 祭 司 ， 乃 是 成 全 到 永 遠 的 。

21 只有耶穌是起誓立的，因為那位立他的對他說：
「主起了誓，
絕不改變。
你是永遠為祭司。」
22 既是起誓立的，耶穌也作了更美之約的中保。
23 一方面，那些成為祭司的數目本來多，是因為受死亡限制不能長久留住。 24 另一方面，這位既是永遠留住的，他具有不可更換的祭司職任。 25 所以，凡靠着他進到 神面前的人，他都能拯救到底，因為他長遠活着為他們祈求。
26 這樣一位聖潔、無邪惡、無玷污、遠離罪人、高過諸天的大祭司，對我們是最合適的； 27 他不像那些大祭司，每日必須先為自己的罪，後為百姓的罪獻祭，因為他只一次將自己獻上就把這事成全了。 28 律法所立的大祭司本是有弱點的人，但在律法以後， 神以起誓的話立了兒子為大祭司，成為完全，直到永遠。
