⁹ Then God said, “^(A)Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let ^(B)the dry land appear”; and it was so. ¹⁰ And God called the dry land “earth,” and the ^(C)gathering of the waters He called “seas”; and God saw that it was good. ¹¹ Then God said, “Let the earth sprout ^[a](D)vegetation, ^[b]plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit according to ^[c]their kind ^[d]with seed in them”; and it was so. ¹² The earth produced ^[e]vegetation, ^[f]plants yielding seed according to ^[g]their kind, and trees bearing fruit ^[h]with seed in them, according to ^[i]their kind; and God saw that it was good. ¹³ And there was evening and there was morning, a third day.
