Genesis 11:7-9
New King James Version
7 Come, (A)let Us go down and there (B)confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So (C)the Lord scattered them abroad from there (D)over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. 9 Therefore its name is called [a]Babel, (E)because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.

8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth,(D) and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel[a](E)—because there the Lord confused the language(F) of the whole world.(G) From there the Lord scattered(H) them over the face of the whole earth.
