Carry One Another’s Burdens

6 Brothers, if someone is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual should restore such a person with a gentle^(A) spirit,^(B) watching out for yourselves so you also won’t be tempted.^(C)

¹⁴ And if anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take note of that person; don’t associate with him, so that he may be ashamed. ¹⁵ Yet don’t treat him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.

¹⁹ My brothers, if any among you strays from the truth,^(A) and someone turns him back,^{(B) 20} let him know that whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his life from death and cover a multitude of sins.^(C)
