Contributions for the Sanctuary

25 The Lord said to Moses, ^2 (A)“Speak to the people of Israel, that they take for me a contribution. From ^(B)every man whose heart moves him you shall receive the contribution for me.

⁸ And let them make me a ^(A)sanctuary, that ^(B)I may dwell in their midst. ^9 (C)Exactly as I show you concerning the pattern of the ^(D)tabernacle, and of all its furniture, so you shall make it.

The Golden Lampstand

^31 (A)“You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand shall be made of hammered work: its base, its stem, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it. ³² And there shall be six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; ³³ three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand.

²⁰ As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and ^(A)the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and ^(B)the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

To the Church in Ephesus

2 “To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: ‘The words of ^(C)him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, ^(D)who walks among the seven golden lampstands.

^2 (E)“‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but ^(F)have tested those ^(G)who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. ³ I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up ^(H)for my name's sake, and you ^(I)have not grown weary. ⁴ But I have this against you, that you have abandoned ^(J)the love you had at first. ⁵ Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do ^(K)the works you did at first. If not, ^(L)I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. ⁶ Yet this you have: you hate the works of ^(M)the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. ^7 (N)He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. ^(O)To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of ^(P)the tree of life, which is in ^(Q)the paradise of God.’
