³ ·They [^LThe sons/^Tchildren of Israel] said to them, “It would have been better if the [^Lhand of the] Lord had killed us in the land of Egypt. There we ·had meat to eat and [^Lsat by the fleshpots and ate] all the ·food [bread] we wanted. But you have brought us into this ·desert [wilderness] to starve ·us [^Lall this assembly/crowd] to death.”
