¹⁴^(A)The peoples have heard, they tremble;
Anguish has gripped the inhabitants of Philistia.
¹⁵Then the ^(B)chiefs of Edom were terrified;
^(C)The leaders of Moab, trembling grips them;
^(D)All the inhabitants of Canaan have despaired.
¹⁶^(E)Terror and dread fall upon them;
^(F)By the greatness of Your arm they are motionless as stone,
Until Your people pass over, Lord,
Until the people pass over whom You ^(G)have purchased.

That do not wait for man,
Or delay for ^[a]mankind.
⁸The remnant of Jacob
Will be among the nations,
Among many peoples
^(D)Like a lion among the animals of the forest,
Like a young lion among flocks of sheep,
Which, if he passes through,
^(E)Tramples and ^(F)tears,
And there is ^(G)no one who can rescue.
⁹Your hand will be ^(H)lifted up against your adversaries,
And all your enemies will be eliminated.
