¹⁸ And ^(A)do not get drunk with wine, ^[a]for that is ^(B)dissipation, but be ^(C)filled with the Spirit,

¹⁹ Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: ^(A)sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, ²⁰ idolatry, ^(B)sorcery, enmities, ^(C)strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, ^(D)selfish ambition, dissensions, ^[a](E)factions, ²¹ envying, ^(F)drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not ^(G)inherit the kingdom of God.

¹³ Let us ^(A)walk properly as in the day, ^(B)not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy.

¹⁰ nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will ^(A)inherit the kingdom of God.
