Deuteronomy 7:8-9

New International Version

⁸But it was because the Lord loved^(A) you and kept the oath he swore^(B) to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand^(C) and redeemed^(D) you from the land of slavery,^(E) from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. ⁹Know therefore that the Lord your God is God;^(F) he is the faithful God,^(G) keeping his covenant of love^(H) to a thousand generations^(I) of those who love him and keep his commandments.^(J)
