³ And you shall keep the responsibility given by Yahweh your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, ^(A)according to what is written in the Law of Moses, that ^(B)you may be prosperous in all that you do and wherever you turn,

⁶ But the sons of those who struck him down he did not put to death, according to what is written in the book of the Law of Moses, which Yahweh commanded, saying, “^(A)Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor sons be put to death for their fathers; but ^(B)each shall be put to death for his own sin.”

² Then ^(A)Jeshua the son of Jozadak and his brothers the priests, and ^(B)Zerubbabel the son ^(C)of Shealtiel and his brothers arose and ^(D)built the altar of the God of Israel to offer burnt offerings on it, ^(E)as it is written in the law of Moses, the man of God.

^7 (A)We have worked in utter destruction against You and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments ^(B)which You commanded Your ^[a]servant Moses.

Daniel’s Prayer of Supplication

9 In the first year of ^(A)Darius the son of Ahasuerus, from the seed of the Medes, who was made king over the kingdom of the Chaldeans—
