54 Az éneklõmesternek, hangszerekkel; Dávid tanítása;
2 Mikor a Zifeusok eljöttek, és azt mondák Saulnak: Nem mi nálunk lappang-é Dávid?
3 Isten, a te neveddel szabadíts meg engemet, és a te hatalmasságoddal állj bosszút értem!
4 Isten, hallgasd meg az én imádságomat, figyelmezz az én szájam beszédeire.
5 Mert idegenek támadtak ellenem, és kegyetlenek keresik lelkemet, a kik nem is gondolnak Istenre. Szela.
6 Ímé, Isten segítõm nékem, az Úr az én lelkemnek támogatója.
7 Bosszút áll az utánam leselkedõkön; a te igazságod által rontsd meg õket.
8 Kész szívvel áldozom néked: áldom a te nevedet, Uram, mert jó.
9 Mert minden nyomorúságból megszabadított engem, s megpihentette szemeimet ellenségeimen.

Answered Prayer for Deliverance from Adversaries
To the Chief Musician. With [a]stringed instruments. A [b]Contemplation of David (A)when the Ziphites went and said to Saul, “Is David not hiding with us?”
54 Save me, O God, by Your name,
And vindicate me by Your strength.
2 Hear my prayer, O God;
Give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers have risen up against me,
And oppressors have sought after my life;
They have not set God before them. Selah
4 Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who [c]uphold my life.
5 He will repay my enemies for their evil.
[d]Cut them off in Your [e]truth.
6 I will freely sacrifice to You;
I will praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good.
7 For He has delivered me out of all trouble;
(B)And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies.

54 Spasi me, Bože, svojim imenom,
opravdaj me svojom silom.
2 Bože, čuj molitvu koju molim,
poslušaj riječi koje govorim.
3 Na mene su se podigli oholi,
moj život traže silnici
koje za Boga nije briga. Selah
4 Ali, evo, Bog mi pomaže,
moj Gospodar je s onima
koji su mi podrška.
5 On će se osvetiti mojim neprijateljima.
Bože, budi mi vjeran i uništi ih.
6 Prinijet ću ti žrtvu dragovoljnu,
zahvaljivat ću, BOŽE,
za dobrotu tvome imenu.
7 Jer, ti si me izbavio iz svih nevolja
i svojim sam očima vidio poraz neprijatelja.
