Zephaniah 2:8-11

⁸ “I have heard the ^(A)reproach of Moab
And the ^(B)revilings of the sons of Ammon,
With which they have reproached My people
And ^(C)magnified themselves against their territory.
⁹ Therefore, as I live,” declares Yahweh of hosts,
The God of Israel,
“Surely ^(D)Moab will be like ^(E)Sodom
And the sons of ^(F)Ammon like ^(G)Gomorrah—
A place possessed by nettles and salt pits,
And a perpetual desolation.
The remnant of My people will ^(H)plunder them,
And the remainder of My nation will inherit them.”
