Zephaniah 1:4-6
Christian Standard Bible
4 I will stretch out my hand(A) against Judah
and against all the residents of Jerusalem.
I will cut off every vestige of Baal(B)
from this place,
the names of the pagan priests(C)
along with the priests;
5 those who bow in worship on the rooftops(D)
to the stars in the sky;
those who bow and pledge loyalty to the Lord(E)
but also pledge loyalty to Milcom;[a](F)
6 and those who turn back from following the Lord,
who do not seek the Lord or inquire of him.

5 and those who bow down on the rooftops
to the host of heaven,
and those who bow down, swearing to Yahweh
but also swearing by Milkom,[b]
6 and those who turned back from following[c] Yahweh,
and who did not seek Yahweh,
and did not inquire of him.”
