Zephaniah 2:7-9
English Standard Version
7 (A)The seacoast shall become the possession
of (B)the remnant of the house of Judah,
(C)on which they shall graze,
and in the houses of Ashkelon
they shall lie down at evening.
For the Lord their God (D)will be mindful of them
and (E)restore their fortunes.
8 “I have heard (F)the taunts of Moab
and (G)the revilings of the Ammonites,
how they have taunted my people
and made boasts (H)against their territory.
9 Therefore, (I)as I live,” declares the Lord of hosts,
the God of Israel,
“Moab shall become (J)like Sodom,
and the Ammonites (K)like Gomorrah,
a land possessed by nettles and salt pits,
and a waste forever.
The remnant of my people shall plunder them,
and the survivors of my nation shall possess them.”
Zephaniah 2:7-9

Moab and Ammon
8 “I have heard the insults(C) of Moab(D)
and the taunts of the Ammonites,(E)
who insulted(F) my people
and made threats against their land.(G)
9 Therefore, as surely as I live,”

the survivors(L) of my nation will inherit their land.(M)”
