Zephaniah 3:9-20

⁹ For then I will change them to peoples with ^(A)purified lips,
That all of them may ^(B)call on the name of Yahweh,
To serve Him ^[a]shoulder to shoulder.
¹⁰ From beyond the rivers of ^[b](C)Ethiopia
My ^[c]worshipers, ^[d]My scattered ones,
Will ^(D)bring My offerings.
¹¹ In that day you will ^(E)feel no shame
Because of all your deeds
By which you have transgressed against Me;
For then I will remove from your midst
Your ^(F)proud, exulting ones,
And you will never again be haughty
On My ^(G)holy mountain.
¹² But I will cause to remain in your midst
A ^[e](H)lowly and poor people,
And they will ^(I)take refuge in the name of Yahweh.
¹³ The ^(J)remnant of Israel will ^(K)do no injustice
And ^(L)not speak falsehood,
Nor will a deceitful tongue
Be found in their mouths;
For they will ^(M)feed and lie down
With no one to make them tremble.”

¹⁴ Sing for joy, O daughter of Zion!
^(N)Make a loud shout, O Israel!
Be glad and exult with all your heart,
O daughter of Jerusalem!
¹⁵ Yahweh has taken away ^(O)His judgments against you;
He has cleared away your enemies.
The King of Israel, Yahweh, is ^(P)in your midst;
You will ^(Q)fear evil no more.
^16 (R)In that day it will be said to Jerusalem:
“^(S)Do not fear, O Zion;
^(T)Do not let your hands fall limp.
¹⁷ Yahweh your God is ^(U)in your midst,
A ^(V)mighty one who will save.
He will ^(W)be joyful over you with gladness;
He will ^[f]be quiet in His love;
He will rejoice over you with joyful singing.
¹⁸ I will assemble those who ^(X)grieve about the appointed feasts—
They were from you, O Zion;
The reproach of exile is a burden on ^[g]them.
¹⁹ Behold, I am going to deal at that time
With all those who ^(Y)afflict you,
And I will save the ^(Z)lame
And gather the banished,
And I will turn them—in their ^(AA)shame—into ^(AB)praise and a name
In all the earth.
²⁰ At that time I will ^(AC)bring you in,
Even at the time when I gather you together;
Indeed, I will give you to be a ^(AD)name and praise
Among all the peoples of the earth,
When I ^(AE)restore your fortunes before your eyes,”
Says Yahweh.
