2 And (A)Hamath also, which borders on it;
(B)And Tyre and (C)Sidon, [a]because [b]they are (D)very wise.
3 So Tyre built herself a (E)tight fortification
And (F)tied up silver like dust
And (G)fine gold like the mire of the streets.
4 Behold, the Lord will (H)dispossess her
And strike her wealth down into the sea;
And she will be (I)consumed with fire.

3 Tyre has built herself a stronghold;
she has heaped up silver like dust,
and gold like the dirt of the streets.(D)
4 But the Lord will take away her possessions
and destroy(E) her power on the sea,
and she will be consumed by fire.(F)
