³² “Do not be afraid,^(A) little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.^(B)

²³ “‘On that day,^(A)’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘I will take you, my servant^(B) Zerubbabel^(C) son of Shealtiel,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will make you like my signet ring,^(D) for I have chosen you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”

²⁷ My sheep listen to my voice; I know them,^(A) and they follow me.^(B)

³¹ You are my sheep,^(A) the sheep of my pasture,^(B) and I am your God, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

²² I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another.^{(A) 23} I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend^(B) them; he will tend them and be their shepherd.^{(C) 24} I the Lord will be their God,^(D) and my servant David^(E) will be prince among them.^(F) I the Lord have spoken.^(G)

²⁵ “‘I will make a covenant^(H) of peace^(I) with them and rid the land of savage beasts^(J) so that they may live in the wilderness and sleep in the forests in safety.^{(K) 26} I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing.^[a](L) I will send down showers in season;^(M) there will be showers of blessing.^(N)
