Zechariah 4

4 ¶ And the angel that talked with me came again and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
2 and said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked and behold a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps upon the lampstand, and seven pipes for the lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
3 and two olive trees over it, one upon the right hand side of the bowl and the other upon the left hand side thereof.
4 So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What is this, my lord?
5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Dost thou not know what this is? And I said, No, my lord.
6 Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, said the LORD of the hosts.
7 Who art thou, O great mountain before Zerubbabel? Thou shalt be reduced to a plain; and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
8 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
9 The hands of Zerubbabel shall lay the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of the hosts has sent me unto you.
10 For who has despised the day of small beginnings? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. Those seven are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
11 ¶ Then I spoke and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right hand side of the lampstand and upon the left hand side thereof?
12 And I spoke the second time and said unto him, What are these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13 And he answered me and said, Dost thou not know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.
14 Then he said, These two sons of oil are those that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

4 那與我說話的天使回來喚醒我，我好像人在睡眠中被人喚醒一樣。
2 他對我說：“你看見了甚麼？”我回答：“我看見一個金燈臺，整個是金的，頂上有一個盆子，並有七盞燈；頂上的燈有七個燈嘴。 3 盆子旁邊有兩棵橄欖樹，一棵在右邊，一棵在左邊。”
4 我問那與我說話的天使，說：“我主啊，這些是甚麼？”
5 那與我說話的天使回答我說：“你不知道這些是甚麼意思嗎？”我說：“我主啊，我不知道。”
6 他對我說：“這是耶和華對所羅巴伯所說的話：‘不是倚靠權勢，不是倚靠能力，而是倚靠我的靈。’這是萬軍之耶和華說的。 7 大山啊！你算得甚麼？你在所羅巴伯面前必夷為平地！他必安放那塊平頂的石頭，必有歡呼的聲音說：‘願恩惠、恩惠歸與這殿（“這殿”原文作“她”）。’”
8 耶和華的話又臨到我說： 9 “所羅巴伯的手奠立了這殿的根基，他的手也必完成這工；這樣，你就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣了我到你們這裡來。 10 誰藐視這日子，以為所作的是小事呢？他們看見所羅巴伯手裡拿著測錘，就必歡喜。”
是耶和華的這七眼，遍察全地。
11 我又再問那天使：“在這燈臺左右的兩棵橄欖樹是甚麼意思？”
12 我又問他：“在兩根流出金色油的金管子旁邊的兩根橄欖樹枝，究竟是甚麼意思？”
13 他回答我：“你不知道這些是甚麼意思嗎？”我說：“我主啊，我不知道。”
14 他說：“這是兩位受膏者（“受膏者”或譯：“供應新油的人”），是服事全地之主的。”

Fifth Vision: Gold Lampstand
4 The angel who was speaking with me then returned and roused me as one awakened out of sleep. 2 He asked me, ‘What do you see? ’
I replied, ‘I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top. The lampstand also has seven lamps at the top with seven spouts for each of[a] the lamps. 3 There are also two olive trees beside it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.’
4 Then I asked the angel who was speaking with me, ‘What are these, my lord? ’
5 ‘Don’t you know what they are? ’ replied the angel who was speaking with me.
I said, ‘No, my lord.’
6 So he answered me, ‘This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: “Not by strength or by might, but by my Spirit,”(A) says the Lord of Armies. 7 “What are you, great mountain?(B) Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain.(C) And he will bring out the capstone accompanied by shouts of: Grace, grace to it! ” ’
8 Then the word of the Lord came to me:(D) 9 ‘Zerubbabel’s hands have laid the foundation of this house,(E) and his hands will complete it. Then you will know that the Lord of Armies has sent me to you. 10 For who despises the day of small things?(F) These seven eyes of the Lord, which scan throughout the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the ceremonial stone[b] in Zerubbabel’s hand.’(G)
11 I asked him, ‘What are the two olive trees on the right and left of the lampstand? ’ 12 And I questioned him further, ‘What are the two streams[c] of the olive trees, from which the golden oil is pouring through the two golden conduits? ’
13 Then he enquired of me, ‘Don’t you know what these are? ’
‘No, my lord,’ I replied.
14 ‘These are the two anointed ones,’[d](H) he said, ‘who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.’(I)
