⁷ “What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground.^(A) Then he will bring out the capstone^(B) to shouts^(C) of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’”

4 In the last days

⁹ “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation^(A) of this temple; his hands will also complete it.^(B) Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me^(C) to you.

⁷ Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,^(A)

¹¹ Jesus is

⁴ On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,^(A) east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split^(B) in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. ⁵ You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake^[a](C) in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come,^(D) and all the holy ones with him.^(E)

²¹ “Tell Zerubbabel^(A) governor of Judah that I am going to shake^(B) the heavens and the earth. ²² I will overturn^(C) royal thrones and shatter the power of the foreign kingdoms.^(D) I will overthrow chariots^(E) and their drivers; horses and their riders^(F) will fall, each by the sword of his brother.^(G)

²³ “‘On that day,^(H)’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘I will take you, my servant^(I) Zerubbabel^(J) son of Shealtiel,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will make you like my signet ring,^(K) for I have chosen you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”

⁶ “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while^(A) I will once more shake the heavens and the earth,^(B) the sea and the dry land. ⁷ I will shake all nations, and what is desired^(C) by all nations will come, and I will fill this house^(D) with glory,^(E)’ says the Lord Almighty. ⁸ ‘The silver is mine and the gold^(F) is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. ⁹ ‘The glory^(G) of this present house^(H) will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,^(I)’ declares the Lord Almighty.”
