² And he said to me, “What do you see?”

So I said, “I am looking, and there is ^(A)a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, ^(B)and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps.

^3 (A)Two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left.”

¹¹ Then I answered and said to him, “What are these ^(A)two olive trees—at the right of the lampstand and at its left?” ¹² And I further answered and said to him, “What are these two olive branches that drip ^[a]into the receptacles of the two gold pipes from which the golden oil drains?”

¹³ Then he answered me and said, “Do you not know what these are?”

And I said, “No, my lord.”

³ Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,

⁴ but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

²⁰ But ^(A)you have an anointing ^(B)from the Holy One, and ^(C)you^[a] know all things.

²⁷ But the ^(A)anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and ^(B)you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing ^(C)teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you ^[a]will abide in Him.
