⁹ For behold, on ^(A)the stone that I have set before Joshua, on a single stone with ^(B)seven eyes,^[a] I will ^(C)engrave its inscription, declares the Lord of hosts, and ^(D)I will remove the iniquity of this land in a single day.

^10 (A)For whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice, and shall see ^(B)the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.

^(C)“These seven ^(D)are the eyes of the Lord, ^(E)which range through the whole earth.”

²⁰ In those days and in that time, declares the Lord, ^(A)iniquity shall be sought in Israel, and there shall be none, and sin in Judah, and none shall be found, for ^(B)I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.

⁶ And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw ^(A)a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with ^(B)seven eyes, which are ^(C)the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

²⁵ Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as ^(A)the high priest enters ^(B)the holy places every year with blood not his own, ²⁶ for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, ^(C)he has appeared ^(D)once for all ^(E)at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

³³ as it is written,

⁴² Jesus said to them, ^(A)“Have you never read in the Scriptures:

⁴³ Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God ^(C)will be taken away from you and given to a people ^(D)producing its fruits. ⁴⁴ And ^(E)the one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and ^(F)when it falls on anyone, it will crush him.”^[b]
