5-6 私が「どうぞ、きれいなターバンも」と言うと、彼らはそのとおりにしてくれました。
それから、主の使いはおごそかな調子でヨシュアに語りかけました。 7 「全能の主は、こう宣言される。『わたしが用意した道に従い、わたしが命じることをすべて行うなら、わたしの神殿を管理させ、そこをきよく保たせよう。そして、この御使いたちと共に、わたしの前を出入りさせる。 8 聞け、大祭司ヨシュアとほかの祭司たちよ。あなたがたは、やがて起こる良いことのしるしとなる人たちだ。わからないか。ヨシュアは、わたしが遣わす若枝（メシヤ）、わたしのしもべを表している。

6 The angel of the Lord gave this charge to Joshua: 7 “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘If you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements,(A) then you will govern my house(B) and have charge(C) of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.(D)
8 “‘Listen, High Priest(E) Joshua, you and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic(F) of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch.(G)
