²¹ And every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be ^(A)holy to the Lord of hosts, so that all who sacrifice may come and take of them and boil the meat of the sacrifice in them. And ^(B)there shall no longer be ^(C)a trader^[a] in the house of the Lord of hosts ^(D)on that day.

⁶ The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since ^(A)he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. ⁷ For ^(B)none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself.

⁹ “Thus says the Lord God: ^(A)No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and flesh, of all the foreigners who are among the people of Israel, shall enter my sanctuary.

³¹ So, whether you eat or drink, or ^(A)whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

The Glorious Future of Judah

^15 (A)Outside are ^(B)the dogs ^(C)and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

²⁷ But ^(A)nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb's ^(B)book of life.

¹¹ And ^(A)the merchants of the earth weep and mourn for her, since no one buys their cargo anymore, ¹² cargo of gold, silver, jewels, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk, scarlet cloth, all kinds of scented wood, all kinds of articles of ivory, all kinds of articles of costly wood, bronze, iron and marble, ¹³ cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and slaves, that is, human souls.^[a]

^15 (B)The merchants of these wares, who gained wealth from her, ^(C)will stand far off, in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning aloud,

¹⁹ So then you are no longer ^(A)strangers and aliens,^[a] but you are ^(B)fellow citizens with the saints and ^(C)members of the household of God, ^20 (D)built on the foundation of the ^(E)apostles and prophets, ^(F)Christ Jesus himself being ^(G)the cornerstone, ^21 (H)in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into ^(I)a holy temple in the Lord. ²² In him ^(J)you also are being built together ^(K)into a dwelling place for God by^[b] the Spirit.
