¹⁷ And if ^(A)any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship ^(B)the King, the Lord of hosts, ^(C)there will be no rain on them.

⁶ They have the power ^(A)to shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood and ^(B)to strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire.

¹⁷ Elijah was a man ^(A)with a nature like ours, and ^(B)he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for ^(C)three years and six months it did not rain on the earth.

¹⁰ Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For ^(A)we will all stand before ^(B)the judgment seat of God; ¹¹ for it is written,

²⁶ And ^(A)he made from one man every nation of mankind to live ^(B)on all the face of the earth, ^(C)having determined allotted periods and ^(D)the boundaries of their dwelling place, ^27 (E)that they should seek God, ^(F)and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. ^(G)Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,

¹⁶ Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem ^(A)shall go up year after year to worship ^(B)the King, the Lord of hosts, and ^(C)to keep ^(D)the Feast of Booths.
