8 И изтребих трима пастири в един месец, понеже душата ми се отегчи от тях, а и тяхната душа се отврати от мене.
9 После рекох: Няма да ви паса; което умира нека умира, и което загива нека загива, а останалите нека ядат всеки месото на ближния си.
10 И като взех тоягата си Благост пресякох я, за да унищожа завета, който бях направил с всичките племена.

New International Version
8 In one month I got rid of the three shepherds.
The flock detested(A) me, and I grew weary of them 9 and said, “I will not be your shepherd. Let the dying die, and the perishing perish.(B) Let those who are left eat(C) one another’s flesh.”
10 Then I took my staff called Favor(D) and broke it, revoking(E) the covenant I had made with all the nations.
