Zechariah 10:4-12
New International Version
4 From Judah will come the cornerstone,(A)
from him the tent peg,(B)
from him the battle bow,(C)
from him every ruler.
5 Together they[a] will be like warriors in battle
trampling their enemy into the mud of the streets.(D)
They will fight because the Lord is with them,
and they will put the enemy horsemen to shame.(E)
6 “I will strengthen(F) Judah
and save the tribes of Joseph.
I will restore them
because I have compassion(G) on them.(H)
They will be as though
I had not rejected them,
for I am the Lord their God
and I will answer(I) them.
7 The Ephraimites will become like warriors,
and their hearts will be glad as with wine.(J)
Their children will see it and be joyful;
their hearts will rejoice(K) in the Lord.
8 I will signal(L) for them
and gather them in.
Surely I will redeem them;
they will be as numerous(M) as before.
9 Though I scatter them among the peoples,
yet in distant lands they will remember me.(N)
They and their children will survive,
and they will return.
10 I will bring them back from Egypt
and gather them from Assyria.(O)
I will bring them to Gilead(P) and Lebanon,
and there will not be room(Q) enough for them.
11 They will pass through the sea of trouble;
the surging sea will be subdued
and all the depths of the Nile will dry up.(R)
Assyria’s pride(S) will be brought down
and Egypt’s scepter(T) will pass away.(U)
12 I will strengthen(V) them in the Lord
and in his name they will live securely,(W)”
declares the Lord.

Zechariah 10:4-12
New Living Translation
4 From Judah will come the cornerstone,
the tent peg,
the bow for battle,
and all the rulers.
5 They will be like mighty warriors in battle,
trampling their enemies in the mud under their feet.
Since the Lord is with them as they fight,
they will overthrow even the enemy’s horsemen.
6 “I will strengthen Judah and save Israel[a];
I will restore them because of my compassion.
It will be as though I had never rejected them,
for I am the Lord their God, who will hear their cries.
7 The people of Israel[b] will become like mighty warriors,
and their hearts will be made happy as if by wine.
Their children, too, will see it and be glad;
their hearts will rejoice in the Lord.
8 When I whistle to them, they will come running,
for I have redeemed them.
From the few who are left,
they will grow as numerous as they were before.
9 Though I have scattered them like seeds among the nations,
they will still remember me in distant lands.
They and their children will survive
and return again to Israel.
10 I will bring them back from Egypt
and gather them from Assyria.
I will resettle them in Gilead and Lebanon
until there is no more room for them all.
11 They will pass safely through the sea of distress,[c]
for the waves of the sea will be held back,
and the waters of the Nile will dry up.
The pride of Assyria will be crushed,
and the rule of Egypt will end.
12 By my power[d] I will make my people strong,
and by my authority they will go wherever they wish.
I, the Lord, have spoken!”
