²² and ^(A)to overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I am about to destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations, and ^(B)overthrow the chariots and their riders. And the horses and their riders shall go down, ^(C)every one by the sword of his brother.

^8 (A)On that day ^(B)the Lord will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that ^(C)the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, ^(D)like the angel of the Lord, going before them.

^7 (A)I have fought the good fight, ^(B)I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

⁴ For the ^(A)weapons of ^(B)our warfare are not of the flesh but have ^(C)divine power ^(D)to destroy strongholds.

God's Everlasting Love

³¹ What then shall we say to these things? ^(A)If God is for us, who can be^[a] against us? ^32 (B)He who did not spare his own Son but ^(C)gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? ³³ Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? ^(D)It is God who justifies. ^34 (E)Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—^(F)who is at the right hand of God, ^(G)who indeed is interceding for us.^{[b] 35} Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written,

³⁷ No, in all these things we are more than ^(J)conquerors through ^(K)him who loved us.

²² And Moses ^(A)was instructed in ^(B)all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and he was ^(C)mighty in his words and deeds.
