6 And the angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying, 7 “The Lord of armies says this: ‘If you (A)walk in My ways and perform My service, then you will both (B)govern My house and be in charge of My (C)courtyards, and I will grant you [a]free access among these who are standing here.

8 Now listen, Joshua, you high priest, you and your friends who are sitting in front of you—indeed they are men who are a (D)sign: for behold, I am going to bring in My servant the [b](E)Branch. 9 For behold, the stone that I have put before Joshua; on one stone are (F)seven eyes. Behold, I am going to engrave an inscription on it,’ declares the Lord of armies, ‘and I will (G)remove the guilt of that land in one day. 10 On that day,’ declares the Lord of armies, ‘every one of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his (H)vine and under his fig tree.’”

6 Then the Angel of the Lord charged Joshua: 7 “This is what the Lord of Hosts says: If you walk in My ways and keep My instructions, you will both rule My house and take care of My courts; I will also grant you access among these who are standing here.
8 “Listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your colleagues sitting before you; indeed, these men are a sign that I am about to bring My servant, the Branch.(A) 9 Notice the stone(B) I have set before Joshua; on that one stone are seven eyes.(C) I will engrave an inscription on it”—this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts—“and I will take away the guilt of this land in a single day. 10 On that day, each of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and fig tree.”(D) This is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts.

6 The angel of the Lord gave this charge to Joshua: 7 “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘If you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements,(A) then you will govern my house(B) and have charge(C) of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.(D)
8 “‘Listen, High Priest(E) Joshua, you and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic(F) of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch.(G) 9 See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua!(H) There are seven eyes[a](I) on that one stone,(J) and I will engrave an inscription on it,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will remove the sin(K) of this land in a single day.
10 “‘In that day each of you will invite your neighbor to sit(L) under your vine and fig tree,(M)’ declares the Lord Almighty.”
