⁷ “Awake, O ^(A)sword, against My ^(B)Shepherd
And against the man, My ^(C)Associate,”
Declares Yahweh of hosts.
“^(D)Strike the Shepherd that the sheep may be scattered;
And I will ^(E)turn My hand ^[a]against the little ones.
⁸ And it will be in all the land,”
Declares Yahweh,
“That ^(F)two parts in it will be cut off and breathe their last;
But the third will be left in it.
⁹ And I will bring the third part through the ^(G)fire
And refine them as silver is refined
And test them as gold is tested.
^[b]They will ^(H)call on My name,
And I will ^(I)answer them;
I will say, ‘They are ^(J)My people,’
And they will say, ‘Yahweh is my God.’”
