6 “On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot(A) in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume(B) all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact(C) in her place.
7 “The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah.(D) 8 On that day the Lord will shield(E) those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest(F) among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God,(G) like the angel of the Lord going before(H) them. 9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations(I) that attack Jerusalem.(J)

6 In that day I will make the governors of Judah (A)like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem.
7 “The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. 8 In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. 9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to (B)destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

7 The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
8 In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
