¹¹ Take the silver and gold, make ^(A)an^[a] elaborate crown, and set it on the head of ^(B)Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest.

Vision of the High Priest

3 Then he showed me ^(A)Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and ^(B)Satan^[a] standing at his right hand to oppose him.

^12 (A)His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. ^(B)He ^[a]had a name written that no one knew except Himself.

⁵ And I said, “Let them put a clean ^(A)turban on his head.”

So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.

The Command to Build God’s House^(A)

1 In ^(B)the second year of King Darius, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came by ^(C)Haggai the prophet to ^(D)Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to ^(E)Joshua the son of ^(F)Jehozadak, the high priest, saying,

^9 (A)And he put the turban on his head. Also on the turban, on its front, he put the golden plate, the holy crown, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

^30 (A)Then they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote on it an inscription like the engraving of a signet:

^(B)HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

⁹ But we see Jesus, ^(A)who was made ^[a]a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death ^(B)crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death ^(C)for everyone.
