Vision of the Four Chariots

6 Then I turned and raised my eyes and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze.

^22 (A)As for the broken horn and the four that stood up in its place, four kingdoms shall arise out of that nation, but not with its power.

^11 (A)In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to ^(B)the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

^28 (A)to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.

⁵ And the angel answered and said to me, ^(A)“These are four spirits of heaven, who go out from their ^(B)station before the Lord of all the earth.

5 Then I turned and raised my eyes, and saw there a flying ^(A)scroll.

Vision of the Horns

¹⁸ Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were four ^(A)horns. ¹⁹ And I said to the angel who talked with me, “What are these?”

So he answered me, ^(B)“These are the ^[a]horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”

³ And four great beasts ^(A)came up from the sea, each different from the other. ⁴ The first was ^(B)like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a ^(C)man’s heart was given to it.

^5 (D)“And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said thus to it: ‘Arise, devour much flesh!’

⁶ “After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had ^(E)four heads, and dominion was given to it.

⁷ “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, ^(F)a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, ^(G)and it had ten horns.
