² And he said to me, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a flying ^(A)scroll. Its length is twenty cubits, and its width ten cubits.”^[a]

³ And ^(A)in their greed they will exploit you ^(B)with false words. ^(C)Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

² And he said to me, “What do you see?” I said, “I see, and behold, ^(A)a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it, and ^(B)seven lamps on it, with seven lips on each of the lamps that are on the top of it.

⁸ And the Lord said to me, ^(A)“Amos, what do you see?” And I said, “A plumb line.” Then the Lord said,

¹¹ And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, ^(A)“Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see an almond^[a] branch.” ¹² Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it.”

¹³ The word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see ^(B)a boiling pot, facing away ^(C)from the north.” ¹⁴ Then the Lord said to me, ^(D)“Out of the north disaster^[b] shall be let loose upon all the inhabitants of the land.

¹¹ Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight, and the earth was filled with violence. ¹² And God ^(A)saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, ^(B)for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. ¹³ And God said to Noah, ^(C)“I have determined to make an end of all flesh,^[a] for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
