A Vision of a Golden Lampstand

4 And ^(A)the angel who talked with me came again ^(B)and woke me, like a man who is awakened out of his sleep.

⁹ Then I said, ‘What are these, my lord?’ ^(A)The angel who talked with me said to me, ‘I will show you what they are.’

¹⁸ And when he had spoken to me, ^(A)I fell into a deep sleep with my face to the ground. But ^(B)he touched me and made me stand up.

²⁶ At this I awoke and looked, and my sleep was pleasant to me.

³² Now Peter and those who were with him ^(A)were heavy with sleep, but when they became fully awake ^(B)they saw his glory and the two men who stood with him.

¹⁹ And I said to ^(A)the angel who talked with me, “What are these?” And he said to me, ^(B)“These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”

¹³ And the Lord answered ^(A)gracious and comforting words to ^(B)the angel who talked with me.

⁵ And he lay down and slept under a broom tree. And behold, an angel touched him and said to him, “Arise and eat.” ⁶ And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on hot stones and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and lay down again. ⁷ And the angel of the Lord came again a second time and touched him and said, “Arise and eat, for the journey is too great for you.”

⁴⁵ And when he rose from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow, ⁴⁶ and he said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Rise and ^(A)pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

⁶ And the angel of the Lord solemnly assured ^(A)Joshua, ⁷ “Thus says the Lord of hosts: If you will walk in my ways and ^(B)keep my charge, then you shall ^(C)rule my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you the right of access among ^(D)those who are standing here.
