¹⁰ In that day, declares the Lord of hosts, every one of you will invite his neighbor to come ^(A)under his vine and under his fig tree.”

²⁵ And Judah and Israel ^(A)lived in safety, ^(B)from Dan even to Beersheba, ^(C)every man under his vine and under his fig tree, all the days of Solomon.

^11 (A)And many nations shall join themselves to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people. ^(B)And I will dwell in your midst, and ^(C)you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.

¹⁸ And ^(A)I will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And ^(B)I will abolish^[a] the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in ^(C)safety.

¹⁶ Do not listen to Hezekiah. For thus says the king of Assyria: Make your peace with me^[a] and come out to me. Then each one of you will eat of his own vine, and each one of his own fig tree, and each one of you will drink the water of his own cistern,

⁴⁵ Philip found ^(A)Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom ^(B)Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus ^(C)of Nazareth, ^(D)the son of Joseph.” ⁴⁶ Nathanael said to him, ^(E)“Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” ⁴⁷ Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, ^(F)an Israelite indeed, ^(G)in whom there is no deceit!” ⁴⁸ Nathanael said to him, “How ^(H)do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
