Future Joy of Zion and Many Nations

⁶ “Up, up! Flee ^(A)from the land of the north,” says the Lord; “for I have ^(B)spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven,” says the Lord.

^21 (A)All his ^[a]fugitives with all his troops shall fall by the sword, and those who remain shall be ^(B)scattered to every wind; and you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken.”

⁴ And I heard another voice from heaven saying, ^(A)“Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

¹⁶ Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Although I have cast them far off among the Gentiles, and although I have scattered them among the countries, ^(A)yet I shall be a little ^[a]sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.” ’

⁶⁴ “Then the Lord ^(A)will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and ^(B)there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known—wood and stone.

¹⁷ So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that ^[a]he said, ^(A)“Escape for your life! ^(B)Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape ^(C)to the mountains, lest you be ^[b]destroyed.”

¹⁶ And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For ^(A)you^[a] are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
