¹⁵ and call^(A) on me in the day of trouble;^(B)
    I will deliver^(C) you, and you will honor^(D) me.”

²¹ And everyone who calls
    on the name of the Lord^(A) will be saved.’^[a](B)

²³ They will not labor in vain,^(A)
    nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune;^(B)
for they will be a people blessed^(C) by the Lord,
    they and their descendants^(D) with them.
²⁴ Before they call^(E) I will answer;^(F)
    while they are still speaking^(G) I will hear.

¹⁰ See, I have refined^(A) you, though not as silver;
    I have tested^(B) you in the furnace^(C) of affliction.

¹⁵ The eyes of the Lord^(A) are on the righteous,^(B)
    and his ears are attentive^(C) to their cry;
¹⁶ but the face of the Lord is against^(D) those who do evil,^(E)
    to blot out their name^(F) from the earth.

¹⁷ The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears^(G) them;
    he delivers them from all their troubles.
¹⁸ The Lord is close^(H) to the brokenhearted^(I)
    and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

¹⁹ The righteous person may have many troubles,^(J)
    but the Lord delivers him from them all;^(K)

¹⁵ He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.^(A)
