⁶ And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your ^[a]arms?’ Then he will answer, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.’

³⁵ Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What have You done?”

¹¹ And ^(A)the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

¹⁴ Now ^(A)it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, “Behold your King!”

¹⁵ But they cried out, “Away with Him, away with Him! Crucify Him!”

Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?”

The chief priests answered, ^(B)“We have no king but Caesar!”

^16 (C)Then he delivered Him to them to be crucified. Then they took Jesus ^[a]and led Him away.

²⁸ So they cried aloud, and ^(A)cut themselves, as was their custom, with ^[a]knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them.

¹⁶ He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, ^(A)to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, ¹⁷ and that no one may buy or sell except one who has ^[a]the mark or ^(B)the name of the beast, ^(C)or the number of his name.
