God zal Israëls vijanden vernietigen
12 Dit is het lot van Israël, zoals is aangekondigd door de Here, die de hemel heeft uitgespannen en de fundamenten van de aarde heeft gelegd en de geest van de mens in hem heeft gelegd: 2 ‘Ik zal Jeruzalem en Juda als een beker wijn laten zijn waarvan de volken rondom beneveld zullen raken. Zij zullen Jeruzalem belegeren en ook de overige steden van Juda. 3 Jeruzalem zal een zware steen zijn die als een last op de wereld ligt. Al zullen alle volken ter wereld zich verenigen in een poging haar te verwijderen, toch zullen zij allemaal door haar worden verpletterd. 4 Op die dag,’ zegt de Here, ‘zal Ik hun paarden in verwarring brengen en hun ruiters krankzinnig maken. Want Ik zal waken over Juda, maar al haar vijanden blind maken. 5 Dan zullen de leiders van Juda bij zichzelf zeggen: “De bevolking van Jeruzalem heeft kracht ontvangen van de Here van de hemelse legers, hun God.” 6 Die dag zal Ik de leiders van Juda laten zijn als een klein vuurtje dat een bosbrand veroorzaakt, als een fakkel bij een hooiberg. Alle aangrenzende naties links en rechts zullen zij verteren, terwijl Jeruzalem niet van haar plaats zal wijken. 7 De Here zal eerst de rest van Juda de overwinning schenken en Jeruzalem pas daarna. Want Hij wil voorkomen dat de bevolking van Jeruzalem en Davids vorstenhuis zichzelf op de voorgrond zullen plaatsen. 8 Die dag zal Ik Jeruzalems inwoners beschermen. De zwaksten onder hen zullen zo sterk als koning David zijn! En Davids vorstenhuis zal zijn als God, als de engel van de Here die voor hen uit gaat.
9 Want Ik ben van plan alle volken die tegen Jeruzalem oprukken, te vernietigen. 10 Dan zal Ik de Geest van genade en van gebeden uitstorten over Davids vorstenhuis en de bevolking van Jeruzalem. En zij zullen kijken naar Hem die zij hebben doorstoken, en over Hem rouwen als over een enig kind. Zij zullen bitter bedroefd zijn en over Hem rouwen als over hun oudste zoon. 11 Jeruzalem zal nog zwaarder in de rouw zijn dan na de dood van de gelovige koning Josia, die sneuvelde in het dal van Megiddo. 12-14 Heel Israël zal in diepe rouw gedompeld zijn. Het hele volk zal gebukt gaan onder verdriet. Koning, profeet, priester en de gewone man zullen hetzelfde lijden delen. Elk gezin zal zijn verdriet alleen verwerken, mannen en vrouwen apart.’

The Coming Deliverance of Judah
12 The [a]burden of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, (A)who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and (B)forms the spirit of man within him: 2 “Behold, I will make Jerusalem (C)a cup of [b]drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3 (D)And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem (E)a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. 4 In that day,” says the Lord, (F)“I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’ 6 In that day I will make the governors of Judah (G)like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem.
7 “The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. 8 In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. 9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to (H)destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
Mourning for the Pierced One
10 (I)“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will (J)look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him (K)as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11 In that day there shall be a great (L)mourning in Jerusalem, (M)like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of [c]Megiddo. 12 (N)And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of (O)Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; 13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; 14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.

12 Пророштво речи Господње о Израиљу.
Говори Господ који је разастро небеса и утемељио земљу, који је начинио дух у човековој нутрини: 2 „Ево, начинићу Јерусалим чашом пијанства за све околне народе. И Јуда ће бити под опсадом као и Јерусалим. 3 Тог дана ћу Јерусалим начинити тешким каменом за све народе. Окилавиће тешко сви који га подигну и против њега ће се окупити сви народи земаљски. 4 Тога дана – говори Господ – ударићу сметеношћу сваког коња, а коњаника безумљем. Али бдећу над сваком кућом Јудином док ћу слепилом ударити све коње народа. 5 И Јудини главари ће говорити у свом срцу: ’Становници Јерусалима наша су снага због Господа над војскама, Бога њиховог.’
6 Тога дана ћу учинити Јудине главаре попут жеравице међу стаблима, попут бакље међу сноповима. И они ће попалити и са леве и са десне стране, све народе унаоколо. Јерусалимљани ће поново пребивати у свом месту – у Јерусалиму.
7 Господ ће прво ослободити шаторе Јудине, да сјај славе дома Давидовог и слава становника Јерусалима не буду изнад Јуде. 8 Тога ће дана Господ бити заштита свим становницима Јерусалима. И онај који међу њима посрће биће тога дана као Давид. Дом Давидов биће као Бог, као Анђео Господњи међу њима. 9 Тога дана ћу учинити да испаре сви народи који ударе на Јерусалим.
Нарицање над оним кога су проболи
10 Излићу на дом Давидов и на становнике Јерусалима Дух наклоности и преклињања. И они ће гледати мене, онога кога су проболи. Закукаће за њим као што се кука за јединцем. Jerusalem’s Enemies to Be Destroyed
12 A prophecy:(A) The word of the Lord concerning Israel.
The Lord, who stretches out the heavens,(B) who lays the foundation of the earth,(C) and who forms the human spirit within a person,(D) declares: 2 “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup(E) that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling.(F) Judah(G) will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. 3 On that day, when all the nations(H) of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock(I) for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure(J) themselves. 4 On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness,” declares the Lord. “I will keep a watchful eye over Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations.(K) 5 Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts, ‘The people of Jerusalem are strong,(L) because the Lord Almighty is their God.’
6 “On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot(M) in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume(N) all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact(O) in her place.
7 “The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah.(P) 8 On that day the Lord will shield(Q) those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest(R) among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God,(S) like the angel of the Lord going before(T) them. 9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations(U) that attack Jerusalem.(V)
Mourning for the One They Pierced
10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit[a](W) of grace and supplication.(X) They will look on[b] me, the one they have pierced,(Y) and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child,(Z) and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.(AA) 11 On that day the weeping(AB) in Jerusalem will be as great as the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.(AC) 12 The land will mourn,(AD) each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves: the clan of the house of David and their wives, the clan of the house of Nathan and their wives, 13 the clan of the house of Levi and their wives, the clan of Shimei and their wives, 14 and all the rest of the clans and their wives.(AE)
