Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Silotan sa Ginoo ang mga Kaaway nga mga Nasod sa Israel
9 Mao kini ang mensahe sa Ginoo:
Miingon ang Ginoo nga silotan niya ang mga siyudad sa Hadrac ug Damascus,[a] tungod kay kinahanglan nga motutok o modangop sa Ginoo ang tanang katawhan ug ilabi na ang tanang mga tribo sa Israel.[b] 2 Silotan usab sa Ginoo ang Hamat, nga kasikbit nga siyudad sa Hadrac ug sa Damascus, ug ang mga siyudad sa Tyre ug Sidon, bisan pa ug may abilidad ang mga lumulupyo niini. 3 Nagpatindog ang mga lumulupyo sa Tyre ug paril, ug nagtapok sila ug plata ug bulawan nga daw sa nagtapok lang sila ug yuta. 4 Apan kuhaon sa Ginoo ang ilang mga kabtangan ug ilabay niya ang ilang bahandi ngadto sa dagat. Ug ang ilang siyudad lamyon sa kalayo.
5 Makita kini sa mga lumulupyo sa Ashkelon ug mahadlok sila. Magaluko sa kasakit ang mga lumulupyo sa Gaza, ingon man ang mga lumulupyo sa Ekron kay ang ilang ginasaligan mawala. Mamatay ang hari sa Gaza, ug ang Ashkelon dili na mapuy-an. 6 Ang Ashdod pagapuy-an sa mga tawong nagkalain-laing kaliwat. Laglagon sa Ginoo ang gipasigarbo sa mga Filistihanon. 7 Dili na sila mokaon ug karne nga may dugo[c] o sa mga pagkaon nga gidili. Ang mahibilin kanila isipon sa atong Dios nga iyang katawhan, ug mahimo na silang kabahin sa katawhan sa Juda. Ang mga lumulupyo sa Ekron mahimong kabahin sa katawhan sa Ginoo sama sa mga Jebusihanon.[d] 8 Panalipdan sa Ginoo ang iyang templo[e] batok sa mga mosulong niini. Wala nay modaog-daog sa iyang katawhan kay karon ginabantayan na niya sila.
Ang Umaabot nga Hari sa Jerusalem
9 Miingon ang Ginoo, “Panghugyaw gayod kamo sa kalipay, kamong mga lumulupyo sa Jerusalem,[f] kay ang inyong hari moabot. Matarong siya ug madaogon. Mapainubsanon siya ug moabot nga nagasakay sa nating asno. 10 Kuhaon ko ang mga karwahe ug mga kabayo nga panggira gikan sa Israel ug sa Juda.[g] Ang mga pana nga gigamit sa gira pagabalion. Ang moabot nga hari magdala ug kalinaw ngadto sa mga nasod. Mohari siya gikan sa usa ka dagat hangtod sa usa pa gayod ka dagat,[h] ug gikan sa Suba sa Eufrates hangtod sa kinatumyan sa yuta sa Israel.[i]”
Luwason sa Ginoo ang mga Israelinhon nga Nabihag
11 Miingon pa ang Ginoo, “Bahin kaninyo nga mga Israelinhon, tungod sa akong kasabotan kaninyo nga gipalig-on pinaagi sa dugo, hatagan ko ug kagawasan ang nangabihag nga gihulog sa atabay nga walay tubig. 12 Kamong mga nabihag nga nagalaom, balik na kamo sa dapit diin luwas kamo sa katalagman. Karon sultihan ko kamo nga ibalik ko nga doble ang nawala kaninyo. 13 Gamiton ko ang Juda ug ang Israel nga daw pana. Himuon ko ang katawhan sa Zion nga daw espada sa sundalo, ug laglagon nila ang katawhan sa Grecia.”
Tabangan sa Ginoo ang Iyang mga Katawhan
14 Unya magpakita ang Ginoo ibabaw sa iyang katawhan. Mokilab ang iyang pana sama sa kilat. Patingogon sa Ginoong Dios ang budyong; ug moabot siya uban sa bagyo nga gikan sa habagatan. 15 Panalipdan sa Ginoo nga Makagagahom ang iyang katawhan. Tunob-tunoban lang nila ang mga bato nga gilambuyog kanila sa ilang mga kaaway. Mangaon sila ug moinom sa pag-saulog sa ilang kadaogan. Manghugyaw sila nga morag mga hubog. Mapuno ang ilang tiyan sa ilimnon sama sa yahong nga puno sa dugo nga iwisik-wisik sa tumoy sa mga eskina sa halaran. 16-17 Nianang adlawa luwason sila sa Ginoo nga ilang Dios isip iyang mga karnero. Pagkaanindot ug pagkatahom nilang sud-ongon diha sa ilang yuta. Sama sila sa mahalong mga bato nga nagagilak-gilak diha sa korona. Ang ilang madagayaong abot makahatag ug kusog sa ilang mga pamatan-on.

- 9:10 hangtod… Israel: nga mao ang disyerto sa Sinai. Ang Hebreo niini mahimo usab nga hubaron nga, hangtod sa kinatumyan sa kalibotan.
Zechariah 9

Israel Defended Against Enemies
9 The [a]burden of the word of the Lord
Against the land of Hadrach,
And (A)Damascus its resting place
(For (B)the eyes of men
And all the tribes of Israel
Are on the Lord);
2 Also against (C)Hamath, which borders on it,
And against (D)Tyre and (E)Sidon, though they are very (F)wise.
3 For Tyre built herself a tower,
Heaped up silver like the dust,
And gold like the mire of the streets.
4 Behold, (G)the Lord will cast her out;
He will destroy (H)her power in the sea,
And she will be devoured by fire.
5 Ashkelon shall see it and fear;
Gaza also shall be very sorrowful;
And (I)Ekron, for He dried up her expectation.
The king shall perish from Gaza,
And Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.
6 “A[b] mixed race shall settle (J)in Ashdod,
And I will cut off the pride of the (K)Philistines.
7 I will take away the blood from his mouth,
And the abominations from between his teeth.
But he who remains, even he shall be for our God,
And shall be like a leader in Judah,
And Ekron like a Jebusite.
8 (L)I will camp around My house
Because of the army,
Because of him who passes by and him who returns.
No more shall an oppressor pass through them,
For now I have seen with My eyes.
The Coming King(M)
9 “Rejoice (N)greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, (O)your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.
10 I (P)will cut off the chariot from Ephraim
And the horse from Jerusalem;
The (Q)battle bow shall be cut off.
He shall speak peace to the nations;
His dominion shall be (R)‘from sea to sea,
And from the River to the ends of the earth.’
God Will Save His People
11 “As for you also,
Because of the blood of your covenant,
I will set your (S)prisoners free from the waterless pit.
12 Return to the stronghold,
(T)You prisoners of hope.
Even today I declare
That I will restore (U)double to you.
13 For I have bent Judah, My bow,
Fitted the bow with Ephraim,
And raised up your sons, O Zion,
Against your sons, O Greece,
And made you like the sword of a mighty man.”
14 Then the Lord will be seen over them,
And (V)His arrow will go forth like lightning.
The Lord God will blow the trumpet,
And go (W)with whirlwinds from the south.
15 The Lord of hosts will (X)defend them;
They shall devour and subdue with slingstones.
They shall drink and roar as if with wine;
They shall be filled with blood like [c]basins,
Like the corners of the altar.
16 The Lord their God will (Y)save them in that day,
As the flock of His people.
For (Z)they shall be like the [d]jewels of a crown,
(AA)Lifted like a banner over His land—
17 For (AB)how great is [e]its goodness
And how great its (AC)beauty!
(AD)Grain shall make the young men thrive,
And new wine the young women.

Judgment of Zion’s Enemies
9 A pronouncement:
The word of the Lord
is against the land of Hadrach,
and Damascus(A) is its resting place—
for the eyes of humanity
and all the tribes of Israel
are on the Lord[a]—
2 and also against Hamath,(B) which borders it,
as well as Tyre(C) and Sidon,(D)
though they are very shrewd.
3 Tyre has built herself a fortress;
she has heaped up silver like dust
and gold like the dirt of the streets.
4 Listen! The Lord will impoverish her
and cast her wealth into the sea;
she herself will be consumed by fire.(E)
5 Ashkelon will see it and be afraid;
Gaza too, and will writhe in great pain,
as will Ekron, for her hope will fail.
There will cease to be a king in Gaza,
and Ashkelon will become uninhabited.
6 A mongrel people will live in Ashdod,
and I will destroy the pride of the Philistines.(F)
7 I will remove the blood from their mouths
and the abhorrent things(G)
from between their teeth.
Then they too will become a remnant for our God;
they will become like a clan in Judah
and Ekron like the Jebusites.(H)
8 I will encamp at my house as a guard,
against those who march back and forth,
and no oppressor will march against them again,
for now I have seen with my own eyes.
The Coming of Zion’s King
9 Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion!
Shout in triumph, Daughter Jerusalem!
Look, your King is coming to you;
he is righteous and victorious,[b]
humble and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.(I)
10 I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim
and the horse from Jerusalem.
The bow of war will be removed,
and he will proclaim peace to the nations.
His dominion will extend from sea to sea,
from the Euphrates River
to the ends of the earth.(J)
11 As for you,
because of the blood of your covenant,(K)
I will release your prisoners
from the waterless cistern.(L)
12 Return to a stronghold,
you prisoners who have hope;
today I declare that I will restore double to you.(M)
13 For I will bend Judah as my bow;
I will fill that bow with Ephraim.
I will rouse your sons, Zion,
against your sons, Greece.[c](N)
I will make you like a warrior’s sword.
14 Then the Lord will appear over them,
and his arrow will fly like lightning.
The Lord God will sound the ram’s horn
and advance with the southern storms.(O)
15 The Lord of Armies will defend them.
They will consume and conquer with slingstones;
they will drink and be rowdy as if with wine.(P)
They will be as full as the sprinkling basin,(Q)
like those at the corners of the altar.(R)
16 The Lord their God will save them on that day
as the flock of his people;(S)
for they are like jewels in a crown,(T)
sparkling over his land.
17 How lovely and beautiful!
Grain will make the young men flourish,
and new wine, the young women.
