2 lo mismo que Jamat, vecina de Tiro y Sidón,(A) a pesar de su sabiduría. 3 Y aunque Tiro edificó una fortaleza para sí, y amontonó plata y oro como si amontonara el polvo o el lodo de las calles, 4 el Señor la despojará de sus riquezas, acabará con su poderío marítimo, y hará que el fuego la consuma.

2 También le pertenecen Hamat, vecina de aquellas ciudades, y Tiro y Sidón con toda su cultura. 3 Tiro construyó fortificaciones, y amontonó oro y plata como quien amontona barro. 4 Pero el Señor se lo quitará todo, y echará al mar su riqueza, y quemará por completo la ciudad.

2 and on Hamath(A) too, which borders on it,
and on Tyre(B) and Sidon,(C) though they are very skillful.
3 Tyre has built herself a stronghold;
she has heaped up silver like dust,
and gold like the dirt of the streets.(D)
4 But the Lord will take away her possessions
and destroy(E) her power on the sea,
and she will be consumed by fire.(F)
