Visión del rollo escrito
5 Tuve otra visión. Vi un rollo escrito, que volaba. 2 El ángel me preguntó: «¿Qué ves?» Le contesté: «Veo un rollo escrito, que vuela; mide nueve metros de largo por cuatro metros y medio de ancho.»
3 Me dijo entonces: «Ahí está escrita la maldición que alcanza a todo el país. Según lo escrito por ambos lados, nadie que robe o que jure en falso puede quedar sin castigo. 4 El Señor todopoderoso afirma: “Yo envío esta maldición para que entre en casa del que roba y en casa del que jura en falso por mi nombre. Y la maldición permanecerá allí hasta que no queden ni vigas ni piedras.”»
Visión de la medida y la mujer
5 Luego salió el ángel que hablaba conmigo, y me dijo: «¡Fíjate en eso que aparece ahora!» 6 Le pregunté: «¿Qué es eso?» Él me contestó: «Es una medida. Es la medida del pecado de los que viven en el país.»
7 La medida estaba cubierta con una tapa de plomo. Y fue levantada la tapa, y había una mujer sentada dentro de la medida. 8 Me dijo el ángel: «Esa mujer es la maldad.» Y la empujó adentro de la medida, y la cerró con la tapa de plomo.
9 Miré otra vez, y vi aparecer dos mujeres. Tenían alas, y el viento las impulsaba. Eran alas como de cigüeña, y llevaban la medida por los aires.
10 Pregunté entonces al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «¿A dónde llevan esa medida?» 11 Y él me contestó: «Van a construirle un templo en Babilonia. Cuando ya esté terminado el templo, la instalarán allí, sobre un pedestal.»

El rollo volante
5 De nuevo alcé mis ojos y miré, y he aquí un rollo que volaba. 2 Y me dijo: ¿Qué ves? Y respondí: Veo un rollo que vuela, de veinte codos de largo, y diez codos de ancho. 3 Entonces me dijo: Esta es la maldición que sale sobre la faz de toda la tierra; porque todo aquel que hurta (como está de un lado del rollo) será destruido; y todo aquel que jura falsamente (como está del otro lado del rollo) será destruido. 4 Yo la he hecho salir, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y vendrá a la casa del ladrón, y a la casa del que jura falsamente en mi nombre; y permanecerá en medio de su casa y la consumirá, con sus maderas y sus piedras.
La mujer en el efa
5 Y salió aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo, y me dijo: Alza ahora tus ojos, y mira qué es esto que sale. 6 Y dije: ¿Qué es? Y él dijo: Este es un efa que sale. Además dijo: Esta es la iniquidad de ellos en toda la tierra. 7 Y he aquí, levantaron la tapa de plomo, y una mujer estaba sentada en medio de aquel efa. 8 Y él dijo: Esta es la Maldad; y la echó dentro del efa, y echó la masa de plomo en la boca del efa. 9 Alcé luego mis ojos, y miré, y he aquí dos mujeres que salían, y traían viento en sus alas, y tenían alas como de cigüeña, y alzaron el efa entre la tierra y los cielos. 10 Dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: ¿A dónde llevan el efa? 11 Y él me respondió: Para que le sea edificada casa en tierra de Sinar; y cuando esté preparada lo pondrán sobre su base.

Das sechste Nachtgesicht: Die fliegende Buchrolle
5 Und ich erhob wiederum meine Augen und schaute, und siehe, eine Buchrolle kam geflogen.
2 Und er fragte mich: Was siehst du? Ich sprach: Ich sehe eine fliegende Buchrolle, 20 Ellen lang und 10 Ellen breit.[a]
3 Und er sprach zu mir: Das ist der Fluch, der über die Fläche der ganzen Erde[b] ausgeht; denn jeder Dieb wird weggefegt werden gemäß dem, was auf dieser Seite [der Rolle] steht, und jeder, der falsch schwört, wird weggefegt werden gemäß dem, was auf jener Seite [der Rolle] steht.
4 Ich habe ihn[c] ausgehen lassen, spricht der Herr der Heerscharen, damit er eindringe in das Haus des Diebes und in das Haus dessen, der fälschlich bei meinem Namen schwört, und damit er in seinem Haus bleibe und es samt seinem Holzwerk und seinen Steinen verzehre!
Das siebte Nachtgesicht: Das Epha der Gesetzlosigkeit
5 Und der Engel, der mit mir redete, trat hervor und sprach zu mir: Erhebe doch deine Augen und sieh, was da herauskommt!
6 Ich aber fragte: Was ist das? Und er antwortete: Das ist ein Epha[d], das da hervorkommt. Und er fügte hinzu: Darauf ist ihr Auge gerichtet[e] überall auf der Erde.
7 Und siehe, da erhob sich eine Scheibe von Blei, und eine Frau saß drinnen im Epha.
8 Da sprach er: Das ist die Gesetzlosigkeit! Und er stieß sie wieder in das Epha hinein und warf das Bleigewicht auf dessen Öffnung.
9 Und ich erhob meine Augen und schaute; und siehe, da kamen zwei Frauen hervor, und der Wind blies in ihre Flügel — denn sie hatten Flügel wie Störche —, und sie hoben das Epha empor zwischen Himmel und Erde.
10 Da fragte ich den Engel, der mit mir redete: Wohin bringen diese das Epha?
11 Er antwortete mir: Es soll ihm ein Haus gebaut werden im Land Sinear[f], und wenn [dieses Haus] aufgerichtet ist, so wird [das Epha] an seinem Ort hingestellt werden.

5 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.
2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.
3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.
4 I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.
5 Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
6 And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.
7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.
8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?
11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.
