Dios perdona a su pueblo
3 1-3 En otro sueño vi a Josué, parado frente al ángel de Dios. Josué era el jefe de los sacerdotes, y había pecado; por eso en el sueño su ropa sacerdotal no estaba limpia. El ángel acusador estaba a la derecha de Josué, dispuesto a acusarlo ante Dios, pero el ángel de Dios le dijo:
«Ángel acusador, si Dios debe castigar a alguien, es a ti. Así como Dios ha elegido a la ciudad de Jerusalén, también a este hombre lo ha librado del castigo».
4 Enseguida, el ángel de Dios habló con sus ayudantes y les ordenó que le quitaran a Josué las ropas sucias. A Josué le dijo: «Toma en cuenta que ya he perdonado tus pecados. Por eso ahora te voy a vestir con ropa limpia».
5 Mientras el ángel de Dios seguía allí de pie, él le ordenó a los ayudantes que también le pusieran a Josué un turbante limpio en la cabeza, y ellos lo hicieron así. 6 Cuando terminaron de vestirlo, el ángel de Dios le advirtió:
7-8 «Así dice el Dios todopoderoso:
“Yo te elegí
como jefe de los sacerdotes.
Si obedeces mis mandamientos
y eres un buen sacerdote,
te pondré a cargo de mi templo.
Te daré además un puesto de honor
entre mis más cercanos servidores.
Y ustedes, el resto de los sacerdotes,
también pongan atención,
pues ustedes son una buena señal:
Yo haré que vuelva a reinar en Israel
mi servidor escogido.
9-10 ”¡Fíjate bien, Josué!
Delante de ti he puesto una piedra.
Es una piedra de siete costados.
Voy a grabar algo en esa piedra,
y en un solo día borraré
los pecados de toda la tierra.
Cuando llegue ese día,
se invitarán unos a otros
a sentarse bajo los árboles,
y podrán disfrutar tranquilos
de sus uvas y de sus higos.
Yo soy el Dios de Israel,
y les juro que así será”».

3 He showed me Joshua the high priest standing before Yahweh’s angel, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary. 2 Yahweh said to Satan, “Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?”
3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel. 4 He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, “Take the filthy garments off him.” To him he said, “Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich clothing.”
5 I said, “Let them set a clean turban on his head.”
So they set a clean turban on his head, and clothed him; and Yahweh’s angel was standing by.
6 Yahweh’s angel solemnly assured Joshua, saying, 7 “Yahweh of Armies says: ‘If you will walk in my ways, and if you will follow my instructions, then you also shall judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you a place of access among these who stand by. 8 Hear now, Joshua the high priest, you and your fellows who sit before you, for they are men who are a sign; for, behold, I will bring out my servant, the Branch. 9 For, behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua: on one stone are seven eyes; behold, I will engrave its inscription,’ says Yahweh of Armies, ‘and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. 10 In that day,’ says Yahweh of Armies, ‘you will invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.’”

3 耶和华又让我看见约书亚大祭司站在祂的天使面前，撒旦站在约书亚的右边要控诉他。 2 耶和华对撒旦说：“撒旦啊，耶和华斥责你！拣选耶路撒冷的耶和华斥责你！这人岂不像从火中抽出来的一根柴吗？” 3 那时，约书亚穿着污秽的衣服站在天使面前。 4 天使对侍立在周围的说：“脱掉他污秽的衣服。”他又对约书亚说：“看啊，我已除掉你的罪，我要给你穿上华美的衣服。”
5 我说：“要给他戴上洁净的礼冠。”他们便给他戴上洁净的礼冠、穿上华美的衣服。那时，耶和华的天使站在旁边。
6 耶和华的天使告诫约书亚： 7 “万军之耶和华说，‘你若遵行我的道，谨守我的吩咐，便可以管理我的家，看守我的院宇。我必让你在这些侍立的天使中间自由出入。 8 约书亚大祭司啊，你和坐在你面前的同伴们听着，你们都是将来之事的预兆——我将使我仆人大卫的苗裔兴起。 9 看啊，这是我在约书亚面前安置的石头，它有七眼[a]，我要在上面刻上字，并在一天之内除掉这地方的罪。这是万军之耶和华说的。 10 到那天，你们将各自邀请邻居坐在葡萄树和无花果树下。这是万军之耶和华说的。’”
