El hombre que medía Jerusalén
2 Volví a levantar la vista, y vi delante de mí a un hombre con una cinta de medir en la mano. 2 Le pregunté a dónde iba, y me dijo: «Voy a medir la ciudad de Jerusalén. Quiero saber cuánto mide de largo y cuánto de ancho».
3 Ese hombre era un ángel, y ya estaba por irse; pero otro ángel vino a su encuentro 4 y le ordenó que me diera este mensaje:
«La ciudad de Jerusalén
tendrá tanta gente y tanto ganado,
que no tendrá murallas.
5 Yo seré para mi ciudad
como una muralla de fuego;
¡yo la llenaré de riquezas!
Yo soy el Dios de Israel,
y juro que así lo haré.
6-7 »Yo fui quien los dispersó
por todas las naciones,
pero ahora les ordeno
que salgan ya de Babilonia
y regresen a Jerusalén;
¡huyan de ese país del norte!
Yo soy el Dios de Israel,
y les ordeno que así lo hagan».
8-9 El Dios todopoderoso me envió a acusar a las naciones que le robaron todo a Jerusalén. Así dice nuestro Dios:
«Yo castigaré a todas las naciones
que le han hecho daño a mi pueblo.
Quien le hace daño a mi pueblo
también me lo hace a mí.
¡Yo haré que sus propios esclavos
les roben todas sus pertenencias!»
Cuando esto suceda, esas naciones sabrán que fue el Dios todopoderoso quien me envió a acusarlas. Él dijo:
10 «¡Griten de alegría,
habitantes de Jerusalén,
porque yo viviré entre ustedes!
Yo soy el Dios de Israel,
y les juro que así lo haré.
11 »Cuando llegue ese día,
muchas naciones me seguirán.
Entonces yo viviré entre ellas,
y llegarán a ser también mi pueblo».
Cuando esto suceda, ustedes sabrán que fue el Dios todopoderoso quien me envió a anunciarles su mensaje. 12 Entonces Judá volverá a ser propiedad de nuestro Dios, y Jerusalén volverá a ser su ciudad elegida.
13 Nuestro Dios ha salido ya
de su templo santo;
¡guarden silencio en su presencia!

2 I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 Then I asked, “Where are you going?”
He said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.”
3 Behold, the angel who talked with me went out, and another angel went out to meet him, 4 and said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it. 5 For I,’ says Yahweh, ‘will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her.
6 Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,’ says Yahweh; ‘for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the sky,’ says Yahweh. 7 ‘Come, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.’ 8 For Yahweh of Armies says: ‘For honor he has sent me to the nations which plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye. 9 For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they will be a plunder to those who served them; and you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me. 10 Sing and rejoice, daughter of Zion! For behold, I come and I will dwell within you,’ says Yahweh. 11 Many nations shall join themselves to Yahweh in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell among you, and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you. 12 Yahweh will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem. 13 Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh; for he has roused himself from his holy habitation!”

2 我又舉目觀看，見有人拿著準繩。 2 於是我問：「你要去哪裡？」他回答說：「去丈量耶路撒冷，看看有多寬多長。」 3 此前與我說話的天使離去時，迎著他走來另一位天使， 4 對他說：「快跑去告訴那青年，『耶路撒冷必像沒有城牆限制的村莊，因為城中將有大量的人和牲畜。 5 耶和華說，我要成為一堵火牆環繞耶路撒冷，作城中的榮耀。』
