Endagaano Enkadde nʼEndagaano Empya
Obwesige bw’oyo atya Katonda.
91 (A)Oyo abeera mu kifo eky’ekyama eky’oyo Ali Waggulu Ennyo;
aliwumulira mu kisiikirize kya Katonda Ayinzabyonna.
2 (B)Nnaayogeranga ku Mukama nti, Oli kiddukiro kyange era ekigo kyange;
ggwe Katonda wange gwe nneesiga.
3 (C)Ddala ddala y’anaakuwonyanga omutego gw’omuyizzi,
ne kawumpuli azikiriza.
4 (D)Alikubikka n’ebyoya bye,
era mu biwaawaatiro bye mw’onoddukiranga;
obwesigwa bwe bunaabanga ngabo yo okukukuumanga.
5 (E)Tootyenga ntiisa ya kiro,
wadde akasaale akalasibwa emisana;
6 newaakubadde olumbe olusoobasooba mu kizikiza,
wadde kawumpuli azikiriza mu ttuntu.
7 Abantu olukumi balifiira ku lusegere lwo,
n’omutwalo ne bafiira ku mukono gwo ogwa ddyo,
naye olumbe terulikutuukako.
8 (F)Olitunuulira butunuulizi n’amaaso go;
n’olaba ekibonerezo ky’omukozi w’ebibi.
9 Kubanga bw’olifuula Mukama ekiddukiro kyo;
Ali Waggulu Ennyo n’omufuula ekifo kyo mw’obeera,
10 (G)tewali kabi kalikutuukako,
so tewali kibonoobono kirisemberera nnyumba yo.
11 (H)Kubanga Mukama aliragira bamalayika be
bakukuume mu makubo go gonna.
12 (I)Balikuwanirira mu mikono gyabwe;
oleme okwekoona ekigere kyo ku jjinja.
13 (J)Olirinnya ku mpologoma ne ku nswera;
olirinnyirira empologoma ey’amaanyi, n’omusota.

King James Version
91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God
91 He (A)who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide (B)under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 (C)I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

Hoffnung für Alle
Unter Gottes Schutz
91 Wer unter dem Schutz des Höchsten wohnt,
der kann bei ihm, dem Allmächtigen, Ruhe finden.
2 Auch ich sage zum Herrn:
»Du schenkst mir Zuflucht wie eine sichere Burg!
Mein Gott, dir gehört mein ganzes Vertrauen!«
3 Er bewahrt dich vor versteckten Gefahren
und hält jede tödliche Krankheit von dir fern.
4 Wie ein Vogel seine Flügel über die Jungen ausbreitet,
so wird er auch dich stets behüten und dir nahe sein.
Seine Treue umgibt dich wie ein starker Schild.
5 Du brauchst keine Angst zu haben vor den Gefahren der Nacht
oder den heimtückischen Angriffen bei Tag.
6 Selbst wenn die Pest im Dunkeln zuschlägt
und am hellen Tag das Fieber wütet,
musst du dich doch nicht fürchten.
7 Wenn tausend neben dir tot umfallen,
ja, wenn zehntausend um dich herum sterben –
dich selbst trifft es nicht!
8 Mit eigenen Augen wirst du sehen,
wie Gott es denen heimzahlt, die ihn missachten.
9 Du aber darfst sagen: »Beim Herrn bin ich geborgen!«
Ja, bei Gott, dem Höchsten, hast du Heimat gefunden.
10 Darum wird dir nichts Böses zustoßen,
kein Unglück wird dein Haus erreichen.
11 Denn Gott wird dir seine Engel schicken,
um dich zu beschützen, wohin du auch gehst.
12 Sie werden dich auf Händen tragen,
und du wirst dich nicht einmal an einem Stein stoßen!
13 Löwen werden dir nichts anhaben,
auf Schlangen trittst du ohne Gefahr.
14 Gott sagt: »Er liebt mich von ganzem Herzen,
darum will ich ihn retten.
Ich werde ihn schützen, weil er mich kennt und ehrt.
15 Wenn er zu mir ruft, erhöre ich ihn.
Wenn er keinen Ausweg mehr weiß, bin ich bei ihm.
Ich will ihn befreien und zu Ehren bringen.
16 Ich lasse ihn meine Rettung erfahren
und gebe ihm ein langes und erfülltes Leben!«
